Algemetric Joins W3C

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international organization that develops Web standards in collaboration with member organizations, a full-time staff, and the general public. W3C, which is led by Web inventor and Director Tim Berners-Lee and CEO Jeffrey Jaffe, aims to guide the Web to its full potential.

The objective of the W3C is to help the World Wide Web reach its full potential by defining protocols and guidelines that secure the Web’s long-term growth. We’ll go through some of the most significant parts of this purpose below, all of which contribute to W3C’s One Web vision.

The social value of the Web is that it facilitates human communication, trade, and chances to exchange information, according to the design principles that guide W3C’s work. One of the W3C’s main objectives is to make these benefits available to everyone, regardless of their hardware, software, network infrastructure, native language, culture, geographic location, or physical or mental aptitude.

Furthermore, the number of different types of devices that can access the Internet has increased dramatically. Mobile phones, smart phones, personal digital assistants, interactive television systems, voice response systems, kiosks, and even some household products are all capable of accessing the Internet.

W3C’s vision for the Web involves participation, sharing knowledge, and thereby building trust on a global scale.

Algemetric proudly joins the W3C as part of its commitment of facilitating and securing a web of devices. Algemetric is joining several other members of the technology industry which are all engaged in advancing Web-based technologies for a comprehensively better experience for all users.
